Youth Culture Connect — A New Kind of Collaboration

Through Youth Culture Connect, we help young Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians co-design projects that build connection, creativity, and cultural pride.

Some of our most meaningful work is pro bono. Youth Culture Connect (YCC) is a living example of facilitation with heart — a multi-year collaboration that brings Indigenous and non-Indigenous young Australians together to co-design a more connected, creative, and resilient future.

Born from community conversations on Kabi Kabi Country, YCC has grown into a network of young leaders, local producers, artists, and mentors across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions. The Let’s Co. Network has facilitated every stage of the journey — from listening circles and storytelling workshops to collaborative design sessions and reflection forums.

Our approach emphasises three things:

Trust before tools — creating psychologically safe spaces where every story is respected.

Curiosity before conclusions — asking questions that invite perspective, not position.

Action before applause — turning insights into small, meaningful experiments that build momentum.

The results speak for themselves. Participants have co-designed local initiatives such as community art projects, cultural exchange events, and school engagement activities that strengthen belonging and pride. They’ve also built enduring friendships across cultures — the kind of human infrastructure that no grant can buy.

YCC reminds us that facilitation is not about telling; it’s about making space for others to tell their story. It’s about weaving together difference until something shared emerges — stronger, wiser, and distinctly Australian.

At Let’s Co., we’re proud to continue walking alongside these young changemakers — listening, learning, and co-creating the future together.
